As stated in our Ethical Code, the Association is largely involved in the protection of environment: our actions and our communication are finalized even to pollution prevention as well.

PIÚINFORMA® follows strict standards for stakeholders and members selection. Caring for environment is a primary requirement, as well as low impact methods of production and distribution. This means: using recyclable packaging, recovering energy from renewable sources, assuring a reduced production of waste and pollution, following a short supply chain.
We place special emphasis for internal waste management, and therefore we follow PIÚINFORMA GREENguidelines. Any waste or packaging is differentiated by category as follow: Paper,
Plastic and cans, Organic waste. Undifferentiated waste paperboard packaging are brought at the eco-center of Asolo (TV Any boxes are disposed to the Eco – Center, and the print cartridges are eco-type ones.
All common waste is collected inside specific containers and managed with “door to door” system, played by local Contarina S.p.A. company
FSC CERTIFIED PAPER
Since 2011 all paper we use for leaflets, documents, business cards comes from FSC certified chain. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a no-profit organization that concerns all the companies that operate with wood, and it works on the basis of environment and people respecting standards. They care about biodiversity (to protect forests from intensive farming); they respect the Rio and Johannesburg rules (1999 and 2002) about pesticides and GMO; they safeguard people and workers rights and they choose to commerce only with Countries where human rights are observed.

Workers daily life is directly affected by the decision of governments and by international institutions concerning trade, investments and business practices regulation and liberalization.
PIÚINFORMA® fights against speculative activities, and supports the liberalization of local, regional and multilateral trade.
Customer’s education, before consumer’s education, not only concerns the individual problems but even the sustainable consumption, the social equity, the human rights, the ethical values and the fight against poverty. Consumer’s education helps building a high-participation citizenship, which is critical and experienced.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND EQUITY
The social responsibility has a primary importance for PIÚINFORMA®, both in public and in private areas. Our communication, information and training policy have the main purpose to increase everybody knowledge, with no exception. People’s health safeguard is a worldwide purpose.
